“The mission of the Boscobel School District is to cooperate with home and community in preparing individuals for lifelong learning by providing the opportunity to grow socially, physically, mentally and emotionally within a safe, nurturing environment.” Our goal is to provide the best possible education within the constraints of a limited budget. At BAS Middle and High School, we encourage an atmosphere of mutual respect and concern among the entire staff and students to promote an environment conducive to learning. The MHS operates on a Block 8 Schedule with traditionally strong programming in the curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular areas. Academic program consists of a core curriculum complemented with an offering of electives designed to support and enhance student achievement. |

Kids always come first in BAS Elementary School, as they grow and learn within our warm, nurturing and respectful environment. The educational program at Boscobel Elementary has a solid emphasis on Reading. The standards based curriculum program focuses on developing skills in the core academic areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary skills experience in art, music, physical education, health, and safety for whole child development. |

Dr. Steve Smith, District Administrator |

I joined the Boscobel Area School District in 1999. My first initial assignment was to make our school technology hardware and software completely Y2K compliant. As the dreaded time drew near Boscobel School District technology was flourishing and we swept by the new year with everything intact and working great. Over the years, I have worked hard to make Boscobel Schools rank near the top in the state of Wisconsin for technology and technology advantages for our students. Today students are learning critical 21st Century skills they need for successful lives and careers. My favorite quote is: Don’t get bogged down in the politics and rules when in the end… technology and the students we are teaching today will be our future for the “Technology of Tomorrow”! |
